1971 Porsche 911T RSR Re-Creation

1 / 3

This 1971 Porsche 911T RSR re-creation underwent a recent complete engine-out, top-end overhaul by marque specialists. It is powered by a 3.0-liter engine paired with a 5-speed manual-transaxle, and it was built to replicate the Gulf-liveried Porsche RSRs that raced at Gulf Racing. This blue Porsche RSR is finished with a black interior and features fiberglass RSR-style bumpers, a FIA Group 4-style front spoiler, a fiberglass whale tail, and a Carrera Racing stripe kit in 1973. Developed as a tribute to the factory RSR race cars, this re-creation features front and rear wheel flares, a fiberglass rear bumper, and a custom-made front bumper. It rides on Fuchs-style wheels with Avon tires, and stopping power is handled by Porsche brakes. This 911T RSR re-creation pays homage to one of Porsche’s most iconic race cars and the legendary wins German race cars earned throughout various periods of competition.
