Stutz 8 Cyl Engines and parts, DV32, SV16, AA

These are from George Holman's collection. We have several engines and parts for sale. There is a "complete" DV32, a "buildable" DV32, an original SV16, and a couple of early engines. More pictures available.

Also have heads, cams, used timing gears, a couple of transmissions, etc. mechanical. No body parts. Some brake parts. Ask and I will check.

 

From the oldest to newest:

 

SN 85893, 1927, Has the head with all valves, cam, and all timing gears and tensioners. Two cam follower buckets are cracked and replacements are included. Several spark plug holes have inserts installed for 14mm plugs. Cracked/missing corner of the casting above the distributor where a bolt was apparently overtightened. Has square tube intake, exhaust manifolds, coolant manifold, generator, water pump, oil pump and lines, No starter, breather tube, pistons or rods. Front cover was installed after this pic. Ask $2000

 

 

SN 92251, 1928, no cam, some valves stuck down. Has the timing gears, tensioners and chains, but untouched. No intake or exhaust, no externals. Ask $750

 

 

(No SN) 1929 est, later style block; This is what I referred to as the "buildable" DV32. However, it should not be built on this block as the block has had an attempted repair to a main bearing support wall. Has a DV32 head, timing gears and chains, good tensioners. Valve assemblies are not installed but are included in a box included. Also separate are the 8 pistons and rods, missing two wrist pins. Flywheel, oil lines and generator - water pump shaft are also not installed. No starter, vent tube or water pump. Does have a correct carburetor and air filter housing mounted to a correct intake manifold. Also includes the correct exhaust manifolds. Asking $17.5K

 

 

SN 32591, 1931 SV16, Pretty much a complete untouched engine with the transmission and the transmission lockout cable and key. Missing the updraft carburetor, and the water pump - generator shaft is not installed. Ask $5000. This could be a good base for the DV32 build though not stamped as a DV32 block.

 

 

SN DV33169, 1932 DV32 This is a very complete engine, appears to have been previously rebuilt. Lead tech in the shop believes it could run. Ask $27.5K
